I used organic Gala apples but even fuji will work. Just juice the apples in the juicer with a piece of ginger and a lemon. I used small mexican lemon with the peal and it tasted so great. The mexican lemon is very small compared to regular lemons and the flavor is incredible. Hope this helps.

This is largely incorrect. Amygdalin (or the synthetic form Laetrile) was promoted as a cancer cure by Ernst T. Krebs and his son under the name “Vitamin B17″ in the hope that if classified as such, then they could market it as a legal supplement. This failed. Several studies have since found amygdalin to be ineffective as a cancer treatment and still toxic because of its decompositional compound, hydrogen cyanide. Apple seeds contain not only amygdalin, but also a cyanogenic glycoside.

This was in Seattle at an Asian grocery store in Chinatown, so I imagine you might be able to find it in other cities that also have a Chinatown…let us know if you find another source!

Then you are a very gullible and easily manipulated person. I’m well aware of those studies showing it’s ineffective and dangerous, they have been manipualted because curing cancer means wiping out the biggest industry on earth. All unbiased studies have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that vitamin B17 found in food is the most powerful anti cancer substance there is. You should rely on unbiased science rather than people trying to take your life for their profit.

Some fruit seeds do have very mild poison(check wikipedia). Apple is one of them. I don’t think it’s a a good idea to consume them for a long time; no matter how mild. I would rather cut the apple and remove the seeds before juicing it.

Yes it is yummy! Back when I was little in PR, my dad used to bring home sugar cane and remove the outer layer and cut it into small pieces and we would chew it and get all the juice inside. Brings me memories…
